Just over a year ago, there was a brief "flap" of "mystery drone" sightings (or UAPs, perhaps) over British and American airbases. Followed quickly by something I can only call a "social media panic" of alleged mystery drone sightings across New Jersey - almost all of which appeared to be ordinary commercial planes misreported as UAPs.
But whatever the core phenomenon is, it appears to be back this week in Denmark and Norway. Copenhagen, Oslo and Aalborg airports were shut down for several hours. Nobody yet seems to know if these mystery lights in the sky are real, physical drones, or something else.

I'd obviously rather that these were genuine UAPs than a Russian military operation. A third option - that it's a mysterious human group running some mysterious technology - would also be pretty cool. But whatever it is, what I'd really like to see is actual pictures sourced from the Danish military, or even from credible observers at the airports. And not AI-generated pictures of planes, which is what we're most likely to see on Reddit.
