NOTEPAD for RANDOM IDEAS

A place to engage extended discussions of things that come up on the ttbrown.com website. Anything goes here, as long as it's somehow pertinent to the subject(s) at hand.

I suggest, as all of these geat posts do that we have a future waiting for us that is chocked full with all kinds of new ideas for energy and propulsion as soon as we are able to grasp them, but like the politics of the age, until we can stop stirring around in the same old soup of fear and limited agendas.... we won't get much of anywhere. We have to be willing to " sit down and talk" and that means with every intelligence.

Shawyer was quoted as saying that his new technology ( which interestingly is " without moving parts" would mean THE END OF WINGS AND WHEELS.

Thats the size of the jump we have in front of us folks. Think on that for awhile. Linda

I'd like to add, and stop thinking in terms of "what's in it for me" to that. That seems to be the cause of all the issues we face as a nation and as a planet. For many years we have heard about pollution and global warming, but the lobbyists working for big industry bought off the government. It wasn't until LA and other cities were covered in a blanket of permanent smog that things started to change. What will it take to make the paradigm shift this time?

WHAT ARE WE PRETENDING NOT TO KNOW?

Did you ever wake up with a headache and then try to figure out what caused it? Then you realize that it is because too many things are coming to you at one time. Well, this is one of those mornings.

Reading your post one thing jumped out at me, it isn't the size of the jump but who among us is willing to make it. That can sometimes be the fear that stops some.

There is the old saying that you can't see the forest for the trees. But what if the trees you see are not really there? Does that mean that the forest isn't there? Are they Christmas trees at a farm? And what of the blonde in the midst of the trees? Is what she holds as important as the trees? I do know that someone already knows what she holds and when the time is right, I to will know.

So much more swirls around in the midst of what I call my mind but only time and understanding will make it possible for me to interpret it.

Linda,

Wise words indeed. I wish I had heard them during the presidential debate! One party (Obama) doesn't have a clue about foreign policy and the other (McCain) has no clue on the economy!

Kim, would the blonde with what she is holding recognize it for what it was? I mean, come on, she IS a blonde! <g>

MagicBill,

Sir, for one, the "blonde" knows what she holds and what it represents, as does someone else. It is my interpretation of it that seems to hold importance.
Second, as to "she IS a blonde" I don't know how to take that, as a woman who has went from auburn (some call that red) to a blonde myself.
Sorry if I sound mean spirited here but you know how a woman can be when she has a head-ache.

As far as the "firestorm" lets hope it is only a match.

Appropriate phrase " we the people".
Something to remember during the next few weeks.

And regarding a question about the Pentagon and its " basement". Oh indeed. quite a basement and for some years taken care of by a fellow named
Pepperman. Paul might remember him, the " balding fellow " who raised peppers in Bethesda?

Ring any bells? For those who are still going "HUH?" you might grab some popcorn and see " Eagle Eye" if you want an " eye opener"

And Kim/ Its all in the eyes Morgan would tell you. The subject that captured that expression was extremely close to his heart.

And I know that this makes no sense now but you will look for the blonde until she finds you. And my best to the foxes in your yard. twigsnapper

A lady came in my shop today wearing a fabulous lapis lazuli necklace, SOMETHING about that colour?

I have been drawn to Ojai today, anyone been there?

Yes, Kevin. Been there -- quite a magical place.

Perhaps you could use some lapis lazuli as a whetstone to keep your antique knives and swords extra sharp. Careful though -- some veils might be cut through in the process.

I finally got my card image posted. Soon, another one you'll recognize as well.

As ever,

Mr. Twigsnapper,

Out of respect, I will address you as Mr. (or would you prefer Sir?), my upbringing dictates so as I was raised by a Southern old school Father.

I agree with Morgan about the eyes. You need only look into the eyes to see the soul and today I have seen an old soul. Just as I told Mikado years ago that he too is an old soul and extreme knowledge comes with that. But when one wears glasses you cannot see the eyes. (Is there a reason for this?)

The funny thing, is that I never looked for the blonde, she came to me. And you're correct in that it makes no sense to me for she hasn't come close enough. But I know she will come closer.

And my "little girl" is getting more beautiful in color everyday and today her brother came for a visit he is getting handsome as well!

With respect,

Kim

Arc,

I am not sure which words you are referring to Arc but thank you for the comment anyway.

Probably my wisest words though were recently to myself. Goes something like this ...." Oh you just really talk too much Brown. Sit down and shut up".

Linda Brown,
Your words should never be quietened, they are admired and welcomed.
I hope your representatives, don't fall for the nine card trick.
Otherwise, your wise words may well be silenced.
As will the words of we the people.
By a cosmic ha ha, I have just viewed an auction not three miles from me, how bizzare,
nazi flags, banners and jack boots.
I will see if I can find the site on google.
here it is, from lot 359 onwards under militaria and medals,

Hello Everyone

I guess it will take more than a mild heart attack to keep me off this forum. I'm in my hospital bed right now connected through the phone line on a 56K modem. There is no TV here and I have nothing else to de but sleep eat and now cruise around on the net on a low speed modem.
They say I need open heart surgery
Well.......OK..... but I guess I'm glad I don't have to pay for it.....
I think I would give up if I were living down there with all you Americans. I cried today a bit. I was in dialysis (where there IS a tv) and I watched the "no" vote on the bail out. It brought tears to my eyes, mostly because I think this will affect hundreds of thousads of people all over the world.
To think that perhaps a handfull of executives may be responsible for the possible collapse of the financial system is very scary thing. The stress of seeing this happen in real time, the stress of my treatment, the stress of being told I needed open heart surgery......well....... it brought tears to my eyes....(blowing off steam I guess)

That we are living in exiting time is real...... That we are all having lots of fun.....well....perhaps not...RIGHT?

Anyhow...I expect you will all hear from me again soon.

I'm not done with my work yet.

I'm a bit tired at the moment. I've been answering e-mails so I'll have some super (yuk hospital food)and sleep a while.

I'll try and get on a bit later to read and comment on ongoing discussions.

Trickfox,

Well that explains why I could not reach you by telephone this weekend. I thought something was up. I am glad to hear that you are doing OK.

I heard last week that the Senate was getting flooded by people telling their Congress people to vote no on the bailout.
The bailout would only amount to 5% of the $14 TRILLION debt caused by greed, corruption, and politics!
The bailout is only a band aid and there would have to be more bailouts to fix this mess...
Yes, it makes me sick that this has happened and I hope people go to jail as a result.

As for the bailout, look who REALLY caused the subprime mortgage mess!
I Googled the Bill S-190 for 2005 and this video is right!
Get the word out and send it to ALL your friends and acquaintances!

http://www.ojaipost.com/2008/09/burnin_ ... ouse.shtml

Once again, politics caused this mess and the people will be responsible to bail them out of this mess...
The Dow dropped 778 points today and everyone's retirement is tied to the Dow.
The rich get richer (and golden parachutes) while the middle class gets eradicated.
The POLITICIANS caused this mess, LET THEM PAY FOR IT!
I say we take it out of THEIR pensions!

Trickfox,
All my positive energies and thoughts are focussed upon you.
Don't be too hard on those Americans, especially those that stood up for the people.
They are not the cause of the problems.
Keep your tail bright and bushy, I want the honour of shaking your hand my friend, mon amie.
