special rocks?/material?
Victoria, Wait. You have lost me here. I haven't spent that much time reading the copy of notebook number one. So until I get that chance I am flying blind here. Brown wrote that these "building blocks" were light enough to float? Come on. Thats Fruitcake talk if ever I have heard it. And ...

Chapter 21 - Gravity & Electricity, Space & Time
Paul, At the end of chapter 21 you sorta skipped over a little statement .... ever so lightly ... as if .... as if you did it that right, nobody out here would catch on to the fact that you were talking about time travel. Just so you'll note ..... I noticed ....." The section I am talking about...

Preface - Down The Rabbit Hole
Taking this discussion one chapter at a time I guess. I noticed that Victoria had weighed in on Chapter 23 and I thought .... what a good way to break our comments up .... Just pick one of Pauls "Chapterettes" folks and jump into whichever that happens to be. That way we can switch topics ...

Paul .... Help me out here. I am still confused as to where I need to go with these comments. I found a like commentary here , so I guess this will do ... but man ... this searching around stinks. How about setting up a separate slot for a discussion ONLY of stuff relating to what Townsend Brown wro...

no assumptions made, really
Paul .... I hadn't really made any assumptions ... so don't include me in that statement "We are asumming here" ... I hadn't even really thought that it was some sort of "rocket" ... If Brown, who was fine engineer from what I have read about him .... says GEAR ... he means GEAR....

launching gear for a satellite?
Yeah, this is odd. How would Townsend Brown ... who is not known to be in that field to start with , know about something called "launching gear". Perhaps General Electric made the rocket engines specifically for Douglas under some subcontracting arrangement. I'll look into that (or any ro...

Townsend Browns Lab notebook #1
Paul, I hope you don't mind me starting this new post but I have just spent several minutes playing a game of "concentration" with myself , opening first one topic and then another, losing myself in them a little. So I just said ... I'll open my own door. The first laboratory notebook fasc...

thanks for the welcome
Thanks for the welcome. I have been putting in my two cents worth where I can. Hope I don't make a pest of myself. I am not the worlds greatest communicator, and I have to be reminded sometimes to stay on the more positive side of the positive/negative balance beam. And I hate typing, which doesn't ...
